"Easy to read" should say "No previous knowledge of Sanskrit terms needed," though it would certainly be helpful. I didn't think the book was easy to read until a few chapters in, and then some of his translations I liked MUCH more than the two other versions I was reading. He has some brilliant insights into what is meant by the text and the guidance, and presents it all in a non-sectarian way, which a MUST for me to want to read a scripture.This is the final teachings of Bhagavan Sri Krishna and is tremendously profound. If you read this version, I would suggest also reading simultaneously the version by Swami Ambikananda and/or Swami Madhavananda, if you want a broader perspective and have some knowledge and understanding of the basic philosophy behind the text already.
I would buy it again and would recommend it to others.

A very readable translation of the Uddhava Gita. Michael Beloved, an Afro-Guyanese, is a very Enlighten Soul.
