Bound by Blood (book 3 is the Paradox series) is a stunning MASTERPIECE. Not sure how I can review without being a spoiler, and try to do this work of art justice.
This book starts off right where you were left hanging from book 2. I'm honestly not sure if Damon is good for Grace or a danger, but one thing we have learned is that he loves Juliette (the girl who lives inside Grace). When Grace dreams of other lives she thinks are just dreams have turned out to be the lives that Juliette has lived.

This book gives us a lot more back story and how Altair was attacked. This was crucial. Patti Roberts has been able to create a beautiful story. She weaves the realms of Earth and Altair seamlessly and draws you in. I just finished it and CAN NOT WAIT for book 4!!

If you are looking for a book (series) that has action, romance, magic, paranormal beings and HEART THROBBING suspense then BUY THESE BOOKS. You will NOT regret it and you'll be feeling just like me, waiting for the next installment!

Also, I could see this series being made in movies that would rival in popularity to Twilight and The Hunger Games but with the intensity of the Lord Of The Rings!

Roberts started off a little slow, but had too for the complex character development. It really flew and kept me interested all the way through. The ending has already drawn me waiting for the next book.
For me, this Paradox series kept wanting more. The characters make you feel you are there. I have always believed in angels and to be able read about something I am passionate about.
This series has had incredible potential but what a waste of fabulous ideas. This book in particular is so busy with people, events, and flash backs that interrupt the flow of the story that the beauty of both plot and characters disappears. What pattern do you want? Plaid, tartan, paisley, spots, pick one and run with it instead of this bubble and squeak tale. Bubble and squeak is made from leftovers, is tasty but in the end just mashed potatoes and pumpkin. When you put them together the taste is good but the colour of both vegetables distorted and the unique lost. There is something there in the novel but it is overpowered by the intricate jumps from one thing to the other and mashing together.

The irony is I want to know what happens next but I genuinely don't want to pay for it.
Very unusual and well thought out story line. I am reading book four now and it is just as absorbing as the first book. A must read!
The Magical Realms, the Magical creatures...Patti Roberts makes you feel like you are there by drawing a picture in your imagination with her story-telling skills. Her descriptions and back stories are golden. You cannot start with this book but start with her first Paradox Book, The Angels Are Here; then the second book, "Progeny of Innocence"....and KEEP READING....you will find yourself looking forward to her next installment. Love.Love. Love it.

From the ancient world to the present. Patti Roberts certainly takes you on an adventure you don't want to miss! With the story getting even more intriguing as the Grigori and the Bulgardi continue to do battle. We meet the other races of the ancient world and how the battle first began.
No spoilers. Wouldn't want to give anything away!
Ms Roberts creates a world of Fantasy with amazingly believable characters that draw you into the story where you live ( if just for a moment) in another realm!
This is a fantastiskt serie of Books! They go from ancient time to the Day we live in . The Books are about love, blood and Tears and death. It is about reinkarnation, gods, godess and vampires. To get the Most of the serie Read them in order. I get book 1 för Free and when I' ve Read some chapters I bought the hole serie. Enjoy you Journey cause you will feel like you are in the same Place as the characters
